Attenborough on Tour

Attenborough Arts Centre are seeking expressions of interest from artists based in Leicester and Leicestershire to take part in a campus-takeover at the University of Leicester.

The selected artists will work collaboratively with the ‘Attenborough Advocates’ – a group of University of Leicester students who will be leading on the selection and development of the project.

As part of our selection criteria, we will be looking for works which reflect on inclusivity and diversity. We’re looking for artists who embody the community and dare to be bold when creating unique pieces of art that reveal their own perspectives and experiences.

The selected artist will be paid a fixed fee of £2,000 (inclusive of VAT) to cover the cost of attending meetings with the Advocate group, travel, expenses, development time & materials.

The resulting collaborative artwork will be produced across prominent locations on the campus.

Cost of vinyl productions and marketing material is not included in the artist fee and will be covered by the Attenborough Arts Centre.
