Creative Producer

The position of Creative Producer is a new role within the BCB team, introduced principally   to extend our capacity to develop and deliver the BCB artists’ programme of commissions, residencies, exhibitions and installations. The Creative Producer will join the existing team of three project managers who share responsibility for the Community and Education Engagement and Studio Projects programme. Under the direction of the Artistic Director the programme team work together in developing and resourcing the programme, collaborate and co-deliver on joint projects and have responsibilities for delivery of specific projects and initiatives. All BCB programme team work in a freelance capacity, combining remote working with work from the office base, the BCB studio and the exhibition venues during the Festival period.

The fundamental aim of the role is to assist the BCB in building on the success of the first four festivals, its programme and brand to further establish the BCB on the national and international contemporary arts and crafts festival calendar, thus supporting culture, cultural tourism and regeneration in the city/region. This means attracting larger and more diverse audiences, supporting revenue generation and building the festival’s local, regional, national and international profile.
