JOB DESCRIPTION

QUAD is a Cinema, Gallery, Café Bar, Digital resource and Workshop that anyone can use.
We are a creative hub that connects people and businesses to art and film and create opportunities for entertainment, education and participation. QUAD transforms lives through active participation in art and film.

Participation is at the heart of everything we do at QUAD. We run a wide variety of outreach projects within the community with a diverse range of people from all walks of life.

The role:

To coordinate a programme of creative wellbeing arts activity that delivers and builds on the previous Arts4Health programme at QUAD incorporating agreed targets and milestones. To be responsible for the ongoing development and delivery of current creative wellbeing activities, including GoldsQUAD (over 50’s), Listen Love Learn (parents and under 5’s) and Q Club (young people with autistic and support needs), as well as support the Dementia Friendly Matinée Screenings.

SUMMARY OF MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

To work under the direction of the Digital Participation Curator and as a member of the QUAD team to:

• Lead on delivery and development of the Creative Wellbeing programme with support from QUAD Digital Participation Curator and working closely with QUAD Education Curator
• Identify the needs of a wide range of community groups and adapt projects to these needs
• Develop, collect and collate all evaluation, monitoring, documentation and information for the Creative Wellbeing Programme and any partnership funding/support developed through the project
• Take overall responsibility for managing the project administration, including delegated budget management
• To develop a practice in Creative Wellbeing that represents QUAD at a local and national level
• Contract freelance arts workers
• Coordinate all required project related volunteers
• Actively seek training opportunities for own and project development, including digital technologies
• Work with QUAD Digital Participation Curator and Education Curator to translate the findings of the Creative Wellbeing (previously Arts4Health) evaluation document to build a useable evaluation framework at QUAD
• Co-ordinate effective marketing and promotion of all aspects of the project working with QUAD Marketing team
• Work with Digital Participation Curator and Education Curator on development of the arts programme
• Attend relevant events, projects and meetings within and on behalf of QUAD
• Carry out such duties as may be required by QUAD, to ensure that agreed policies are carried out
• Develop online presence for the Creative Wellbeing programme on the QUAD website and project blog
• Attend Staff and Programme Team meetings.
• Work within QUAD’s Equal Opportunities Policy, Health & Safety Policy Statement and Safeguarding Policy
