Job Title: Curator of Live Programmes

Responsible to: Chief Curator (currently on maternity leave; in the interim the post-holder will be responsible to the Director)

Salary: £25,000 p/a pro rata

Term: Permanent. We envisage a full-time post (35 hours) but will consider flexible and part-time working. Some evenings and weekend work are required, dependent on events.

Nottingham Contemporary is looking for a curator of Live Programmes to join our team to manage an ambitious programme of free talks, conferences, screenings, performances and workshops, which explore important cultural and socio-political topics.

You will work closely across our teams and with the city’s two universities to collaborate with a wide range of local, national and international partners and practitioners to share ideas and research.

We encourage applications from people whose perspectives, skills and experiences remain under-represented in our sector. This may include people from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds with lived experience of racism; people who are disabled, D/deaf, and neurodivergent; people from a range of socioeconomic backgrounds; and those whose experiences cut across identities.
