Curatorial Trainee

This is a unique opportunity to secure a training opportunity at a nationally recognised and award winning Arts Centre at the University of Leicester. The successful applicant will have three days a week paid work as a Curatorial Trainee at Attenborough Arts Centre working alongside the Visual Art Officer on the contemporary art exhibition programme this includes on the job training, mentoring and practical experience.

The paid position is funded by Arts Council England through Attenborough Arts Centre National Portfolio funding and is for an initial fixed period up to the end of March 2025.

The scheme is designed to support people who have a strong desire to work in the gallery sector but may have found it difficult to secure experience or training.
