Earth Photo 2023 invites submissions from still and moving image makers of all ages, from anywhere in the world, who have a compelling story to share about our planet.
Established in 2018 by Forestry England, the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) and Parker Harris, Earth Photo is a world-leading international programme dedicated to engaging with still and moving image makers. Its main objective is to reveal the narratives behind the pictures, encouraging conversations about our world, its peoples, environments, and the changing climate.
Earth Photo gives photographers and videographers the opportunity to show their work to a prestigious panel of selectors, win prizes up to £1,000, and take part in the Earth Photo exhibitions:
- at the Royal Geographical Society, in London,
- in five Forestry England sites,
- with Sidney Nolan Trust, at The Rodd, Herefordshire,
- and Lishui Photography Culture Centre, China.
There are additional opportunities for young photographers, including the David Wolf Kaye Future Potential Awards (DWKFPA).
The application deadline is Tuesday 2 May 2023, 5pm (BST). The application portal is: https://new.artopps.co.uk/opportunities/earth-photo.
