Engagement Manager

Animate Projects is a strategic arts agency based in Derby, working regionally, nationally and internationally. We are the UK’s lead organisation for independent animation practice.

In April 2023, Animate became an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation. This support is enabling us to bring new expertise to the team, with a new post that will develop and support our work in engaging communities and provide the necessary and consistent capacity for us to deliver our ambitious programme.

This is a varied role, with a focus on engagement and supporting our project communities, that will also involve working on related exhibitions, events and marketing. You will be part of a small team, working closely with Animate’s two directors, interns, freelancers, artists, and our partners, but you will also need to be self-sufficient and happy to take responsibility for managing your time and workload.
