NN Associates programme

The NN Associates programme is a tailored CPD training that develops sector-specific and wider employability skills within the cultural and creative industries and beyond. Our Associates Programme diversifies future workforce through the development of business, enterprise and entrepreneurial skills that open up to routes and avenues for those looking to develop careers in the Arts.

The programme is now open for applications and will take place between August and December 2022.

Closing date for applications: Monday 8th August 2022.

As a member of the programme you will:

  • Undertake a development session to talk about yourself to find out more about your interests and set goals for the programme.
  • Develop a learning plan to outline key goals designed to help you find work opportunities at the end of the programme.
  • Attend at least 6 online talks and seminars from industry professionals to:
    -Find out more about the arts and cultural sector from established industry professionals.
    – Learn more about developing careers, applications and networks in the arts to kickstart your career or develop your confidence.
  • Work alongside NN Contemporary to:
    – Develop your own self-managed projects to explore more of what you want to do and contribute to the gallery programme.
    – Undertake Arts Award, if you choose to, to develop qualifications and understanding.
    – Work as part of the NN team to get a better understanding of roles within the arts and develop your skills.

Each participant within the scheme will be expected to undertake a minimum of 48 hours development, equating to approximately 4 hours per week.

This is a combination of organised sessions and self-managed time so the programme can work flexibly for you.

The programme is fully funded and therefore places are free but limited.

This programme is intended for people living in South East Midlands area, that is Northamptonshire, Luton, Bedfordshire, and Milton Keynes, and for those unemployed or not in full time education. However, applicants who this does not apply to will be considered.
