ELIGIBILITY: No Jobs in the Arts are seeking submissions of visual artworks for this open call, the way they define visual art is pretty simple: ‘if we can print any piece of the artwork, we’ll discuss including it in the zine’. Submissions are open to early-career creatives. No Jobs in the Arts use no criteria to define ‘early-career’ creative, so it’s up to the creative to decide if submitting to the opportunity will be beneficial to them. The opportunity is unsuitable for any creative who does not have a link to the Midlands, UK (East or West Midlands region), or anyone under the age of sixteen at the time of submission. Please only submit artwork that is relevant to the theme for this open call, environment and sustainability.

OPPORTUNITY:

The five artists featured and interviewed for the zine will each be paid a fee of £75. The artists and artworks will be selected by guest curators, Round Lemon. Issue #7 will be distributed digitally, and in print, across the region and beyond, for free. There is no charge to submit to this opportunity. No Jobs in the Arts asks readers to support the project using a pay what you want model, they do this to give readers autonomy over what they can afford, with no judgement. We fundraise to sustain projects and pay those involved fairly.
