READVERTISEMENT. First Art is seeking a Creative Producer to support the delivery of the First Art programme delivered across North Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire. Based at Junction Arts (Derbyshire), you will support the creative team in delivering a series of place based audience development activities that link to our annual showcase festival. You will also support the development of the First Art ‘Broadcast Channel’ (an online platform that will showcasse local events and talent including a series of live web streams).

First Art is a Creative People and Places programme funded by Arts Council England. The programme covers the former coalfield areas of NE Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire, specifically the districts of Ashfield, Bolsover, NE Derbyshire and Mansfield.

The post is for 4 days a week a week (0.8FTE) and is fixed term 12-month contract (to June 2017). It will be based at Junction Arts, Chesterfield with some working from a First Art base in Kirkby in Ashfield Library and regular travel across the First Art area.

Salary: £25,000 per annum, pro rata. Closing date: 5pm on Tuesday 10th May 2016.
