Development Apprenticeship

The Development Apprentice will work within the Development Team and report to the Development Manager in order to assist with implementation and development of The Lightbox fundraising strategy. The role will include supporting fundraising areas such as Individual Donors, Supporter schemes, Major Donors, Legacies, Corporate Sponsorship and Membership, Fundraising Events and new/other income generating opportunities.

There will be the expectation to liaise with other departments and volunteers internally including Learning and Exhibitions in order to assist with delivering Development projects and initiatives.

There may also be some requirement to work outside of regular hours in order to support at occasional Fundraising evening events. Any additional hours can be taken back as time in lieu.

This role will provide an opportunity to experience what working in a busy Development team entails. Training opportunities will be part of the package and support from the Director and Development Team with skills development, CV writing and job application advice will be part of the training.
