Learning & Engagement Officer

The newly incorporated Arts Section of Cultural Services at Warwick District Council is comprised of the Leamington Art Gallery & Museum, Royal Spa Centre and Leamington Town Hall. The service delivers a wide range of high quality arts activities with the aim of increasing participation in the arts and ensuring that opportunities for engagement are maximised for visitors and residents of the District.

We need an enthusiastic and motivated Learning & Engagement Officer to join our busy Collections & Engagement team. You will work closely with the Collections & Engagement Manager to encourage public engagement with the arts by organising and delivering a diverse range of activities and events which educate and entertain existing visitors and develop new audiences – including hard-to-reach groups in Warwick District, schools and local residents.

You will have at least one year’s professional experience in an education or event organiser role within an arts or heritage environment. The role will require excellent organisational skills and the candidate should be able to demonstrate that they are a confident communicator, able to develop and deliver their innovative and creative ideas.

If this sounds like the role for you, then we’d love to hear from you!
