We are delighted to announce that Andrew Bracey, Geoff Diego Litherland, Jessica Harby, Kajal Nisha Patel, Tim Shore and Tracey Kershaw have been selected as our Document artists. From a strong and diverse field of applicants, our selection panel chose these six artists to work with us between now and August 2018. During that time they will have a light shone on their creative processes and will reflect on their art practices and their experiences of pursuing a career in the visual arts. Their work will be presented to regional and national audiences and their thoughts will be captured to create a narrative for the project.
Our selection panel comprised Deborah Robinson, Head of Exhibitions, The New Art Gallery Walsall, Gordon Dalton, artist, Festival Coordinator for the Plymouth Weekender and Coordinator for CVA network Visual Arts South West, and Kerry Harker, Founding Director of Curator Works. They will continue to be connected with the project in a variety of ways, as will other individuals and organisations.
