Panic! Social Class,Taste and Inequalities in the Creative Industries report published

Panic! Social Class, Taste and Inequalities in the Creative Industries was published to disseminate the findings of a research project led by sociologists from the Universities of Edinburgh and Sheffield that investigates inequalities in the cultural workforce. The result of a collaboration between Arts Emergency – a mentoring charity and network working primarily in London, Greater Manchester and Thanet in Kent to help marginalised young people overcome barriers to participation and success in higher education and the creative and cultural industries – and the Universities of Sheffield and Edinburgh, the report offers new insights into the tastes, values and engagement of cultural workers.
